This privacy policy describes the processing of personal data when you visit the ONE VIOLIN ORCHESTRA website at oneviolinorchestra.com and www.oneviolinorchestra.com.

2. Website hosting
The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you access it, your browser transmits technical data, in particular your IP address, the requested file, date and time, browser and operating system information and, where applicable, the previously visited page (referrer). The hosting provider processes this data to deliver the website and in server logs for security and troubleshooting.
This processing serves our legitimate interest in a reliable and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). According to IONOS, visitor data is anonymised when collected and stored for eight weeks. 3. Contact by email
When you write to us, we process your email address, your message and the information you provide in order to respond to your enquiry. For contractual and booking enquiries, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; for other enquiries, it is our legitimate interest in communication under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This website has no contact form of its own.
We delete enquiries once they have been dealt with and further retention is no longer necessary. Where legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require further retention, we restrict processing to those purposes.
4. YouTube thumbnails and videos
The website displays videos from YouTube, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Some thumbnails on the media page are loaded directly from i.ytimg.com. Loading these images already establishes a connection with Google and transmits your IP address in particular. This serves to identify the videos offered and our legitimate interest in presenting our music (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The embedded video player loads only when you click a video. We use youtube-nocookie.com for this purpose. During playback, Google receives technical data and information about the video being viewed; depending on how you use the service, other storage technologies may be used and data may be associated with a signed-in Google account. Privacy-enhanced mode does not prevent all data transfers. If you do not wish to play a video, do not open the player; closing it ends the embedding on this page.
Google may also process data outside the European Union, in particular in the USA. Information on purposes, retention periods, transfer mechanisms and your settings is available in the Google privacy policy.
5. Newsletter and external services
We use Mailchimp, a service of The Rocket Science Group LLC, USA, an Intuit group company, for registration and delivery of “Post von Nora”. The registration link opens an external Mailchimp form; no newsletter form data is collected on this website itself.
Your email address is required to subscribe. You may optionally provide your first name, surname and the day and month of your birthday. We process these details to manage your subscription and send the newsletter about concerts, music and personal insights. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Registration requires confirmation by email (double opt-in).
Mailchimp processes newsletter data on our behalf. Data may also be processed in the USA. In its data processing terms , Mailchimp provides for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where necessary, EU standard contractual clauses. Information about the provider’s processing of data, including when you visit the external form, is available in the Intuit and Mailchimp privacy statement.
Your details are used for the newsletter for as long as you remain subscribed. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by writing to nora@legrain.de . Newsletter delivery to you will then stop. Where data remains necessary to demonstrate consent or respect your unsubscribe request, further processing is restricted to those purposes.
The fan shop, ticket providers, music platforms and social media profiles are accessible via links. You visit the respective external service only when you open such a link. Its own privacy notices apply there. In particular, purchases, payments and ticket bookings are not processed on this website.
6. Fonts, cookies and analytics
Fonts are loaded from our own web hosting space. The website does not embed Google Analytics or Meta Pixel scripts and does not itself set analytics or advertising cookies. Concert search runs in your browser; search terms may appear in the page address and therefore in server logs when the page is requested again. The information in Section 4 applies to external YouTube content.
7. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability (Art. 15 to 20 GDPR). Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future; prior processing remains unaffected.
Right to object: You may object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object to direct marketing at any time (Art. 21 GDPR).
